This is a sample of artwork by Kelly Lowery. Getting back to artistic expression is only one of the strands of life that she is re-weaving after two strokes put her into Camino Hospital. Kelley is an amazing, resilient, and fantastically determined person with a strong network of family and friends who continue to support her comeback. Beverly and the Lowerys have been great friends for years and I ran into Kelley late one afternoon as she worked at the City of Los Altos Recreation Dept. where Beverly has asked her to apply her computer skills on a variety of projects. Kelley was typing away at a great rate. She is able to work two days a week while keeping up a strenuous schedule of therapy.
